About Synekys

Built by the people who have to answer for it

We are C-level executives. Between us we have spent decades inside heavily audited, heavily regulated companies, sitting in the seat where the questions land: the board meeting, the internal audit review, the external auditor's fieldwork, the regulator's request for evidence.

Every one of those rooms asks the same thing about security awareness. Not “did you buy a platform.”

What awareness platforms actually deliver

A number that tells your board almost nothing

The market is full of annual e-learning modules, phishing simulations and completion certificates. Between them they produce one figure.

What is missing is not effort. It is the line between the obligation and the behaviour. Without it, an artefact is not evidence.

So the executive who has to face the board, the auditors, the governance bodies, the regulator and the data protection authority ends up defending a completion rate they had no hand in shaping.

94%completed

It tells your board almost nothing, and it tells an auditor even less.

No granularityThere is no line from a specific control, a specific regulatory article or a specific internal risk to a specific thing your staff now know.
No continuityOne training event a year is not a culture. It is a date in a calendar.
No ownershipThe platform is usually run by HR, or an L&D tool nobody on the accountable side ever opens.

What we built

Awareness as a daily habit

Synekys delivers security and compliance awareness one short question at a time, inside Slack and Teams where people already work. It takes seconds a day. It does not compete with productivity, and it does not test anyone's patience.

Every question is mapped article by article to the frameworks that apply to you: DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR, and the market rules our own world runs on such as MiFID and MiCA. That mapping is the product.

  • Human Risk Score. A composite view of where you are genuinely weak, by topic and by team, refreshed continuously rather than once a year.
  • Team leaderboards only. Never individual — by design, and for good labour-law reasons in Europe.
  • EU data residency. Your workforce data stays in the EU.
  • Onboarding is a workspace sync. Not a project.

See how it works

The trail runs both ways

From an obligationexactly how your people were trained on it
From a person or a teamexactly which obligations they are current on

Who this is for

The person who carries the liability

Large, process-heavy organisations

You have the frameworks, the committees and the tooling. What you sometimes also have is a false sense of being shielded: a mature process that produces artefacts nobody can trace back to actual behaviour. Synekys turns the artefact into evidence.

Smaller firms under real scrutiny

A regulated startup facing retail clients, a first audit, a licence application or a supervisory review carries the same obligations as an incumbent with a hundred times the headcount. Synekys gives you defensible awareness without a compliance department.

In both cases the platform is piloted by the person who is ultimately accountable. The CISO, the CTO, the COO, the DPO, the head of compliance. The people who will be in the room.

Principles

What we believe

  • Awareness is a daily exercise, not an annual event.
  • Training that cannot be explained to an auditor is not training. It is expenditure.
  • Culture is built in small, repeated, low-friction moments, not in mandatory afternoons.
  • The tool should serve the person who carries the liability.

Where we are

A pilot programme, open to governance-minded firms

Synekys is in active development. Pricing is per person, per month, deliberately low enough that coverage is never the thing you cut.
